Email Marketing Coordinator

eSalon is looking for an Email Marketing Coordinator to support the CRM Marketing team with email campaign execution, management and analysis. The types of email campaigns you’ll work on include promotional, transactional, onboarding, activation / sign-up, win-back, and more. This role will work cross-functionally with our creative, brand, product, and tech teams to help achieve our email and CRM objectives.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day execution of email marketing campaigns; including creating, testing, and QA to ensure accurate and error-free execution of content
Monitor daily email campaign deliverability
Work cross-functionally between departments to manage the email marketing timelines from creation to deployment
Assist in the planning of new campaigns and programs and find ways to enhance existing email campaigns
Explore ways to maximize the potential of our internal marketing automation system and tools to optimize campaigns
Analyze email campaign performance using key email metrics such as open, click and conversion rates as well as subscription-based metrics
Stay up-to-date on email marketing industry trends and best practices to help identify areas for improvement
Conduct marketplace analysis to evaluate competitors in the hair color and care industry and provide key insights into their CRM tactics

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing or Business
1-3 years of experience working in email or digital marketing
Experience with email tools such as CRMs or ESPs
Competent in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
Excellent communicator and strategic thinker with an ability to use data to make marketing decisions
Strong project management skills and attention to detail
Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of HTML and Photoshop skills (preferred)
Familiarity with Google Analytics or other web analytics tools (preferred)
Desire to learn new third party tools - marketing automation, analytics, database, customer segmentation (preferred)
Familiarity with other digital marketing tactics - SEO, paid social (preferred)
