Compliments on my color!I have been using eSalon for several months and have been pleased with my color and the product in general. That said, due to the pandemic, I have working remotely for 16 mos. and have not seen anyone other than my husband, mother and a few neighbors so I have had limited feedback from others regarding my color. This week, I had a medical procedure which had been postponed since mid-pandemic. An OR prep nurse happened to comment on my hair and asked if it was natural or if I colored it. I explained that I had subscribed to eSalon and she wanted to know more! Before I knew it, there was another nurse getting a pen and taking notes! Thus, I can report rave reviews and potential new subscribers. I will also add that my color does not totally cover my gray, but enhances it, allowing it to blend naturally with my color and allows me to embrace it. My color kits tame the gray texture as well. So kudos to the eSalon team! Love this color...This is the most natural my hair has ever looked...even when I shelled out huge money for my color at the salon. They never nailed the color like this! And, since it was so expensive to color my hair - I would go for months without coloring with lots of root & grays showing thru. Now I can afford to touch up every month - it looks natural - no one asks "did you get your hair colored?" - LOVE eSalon! P.s. Better than the SalonI was nervous. I thought this was going to end badly. I was worried it was "box color." I turned to ESalon after reading a lot of reviews online. I had recently been to the salon, and my colorist told me that my matrix copper color had been discontinued, and she could not get it. I so badly wanted the copper tone I was used to. I was worried I would be calling my colorist to fix some online color botch job. I LOVE MY ESalon color. It came out exactly how I described, and matched my pictured color I submitted. Even the 2. color is terrible...I ordered golden blonde since my hair used to be a goldeny blonde and got darker with age. My current hair color is very dark blonde/light brown. I tested the color on a small strand and my hair color did not change. eSalon was very nice and called me to send a new color, which had a 25 vol. developer instead of the previous 15 and was supposed to be lighter. I tried another piece of hair and lo and behold, my hair may have actually gotten darker. It definitely has a red tint (i would say my hair has green undertones lol) and I genuinely do not see any lightening effect. It may be that we have fundamentally different understandings of "dark blonde" but I honestly gave up trying to dye my hair and will be asking for a refund since even after sending them 8 photos we cannot just blonde my hair.
