Good color but....I liked the color, but I wanted to cover the reddish tones left in my hair by a previous dye. The instructions said to do my roots and then work through ends in the shower for a few minutes, so the roots are great but the ends still have more red in them than I want which is disappointing. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Custom Color SetToday, May 23, 2021 I colored my hair. I was apprehensive (not knowing if the selected color would fix my skin-tone or look good on me). Upon open the box, the Presentation was personalized to me with detailed instructions really helped me to relax. The packaging, beautifully and tastefully done. The Color selected, I like. The shampoo was very mild and the conditioner has my hair feeling soft and manageable. The extra perks, I enjoyed very thoughtful...stain-remover cream from the skin, and the extra pair of gloves were definitely a pleasant surprise. My dislike, the color did not cover my grey hair well (in fairness, I did not leave the product in long enough). In the next two weeks, I will reevaluate the condition of my hair. MY FIRST TIME: "Custom" Blonde. SO DISAPPOINTED!!I decided to try eSalon because my daughter kept telling me about how harsh the "cheap" Revlon and/or Loreal haircolor I used was and how I would ruin my hair. So when I saw the ad and reviews for eSalon, it sounded perfect. Answering the questions with colorist (c ompleting questionnaire) I explained that I needed to cover my white/gray roots, and came up with "Medium/Golden Blonde" which was the closest to my current hair color (or so I thought). I was so excited to think that I wouldn't have to keep changing brands and colors, trying to achieve a certain look. I was so sure I'd be doing this forever; I even Splurged and bought the Color Tools kit with the bowl, brush and hair clips. And I also, purchased the Protective Cape and the Hair Tint Rinse. What happened after carefully watching the videos and following the steps to color my roots was: My Gray hair turned out a dark, Reddish-Brown and my White hair is almost Orange! My husband had a good laugh and I cried. Not only is the color awful, but all of my hair feels So dry. I am honestly really shocked! I expected the results to be so much better. Especially the dry hair result, even with the "cheap stuff " my hair feels nice right after coloring. Obviously this is not the hair color for me. It breaks my heart.
