WOW!This is the first time I’ve tried this hair color. I must say I was skeptical. When I put it on it was really dark and I was scared! But, when I washed it off it was beautiful. Nice colour and coverageWhen I applied the colour I thought it was going to turn out a lot darker than it did but I am glad it turned out as it did. I think it looks good and is very, very close to the colour I envisioned. The product did not have a strong odour and my scalp was not burning or itchy when I applied it. I like this a lot more than I do the home stuff I usually use. 4/5 because I would have liked the medium blonde to be slightly more gold than it turned out but really good overall. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Convert to home colouringThe presentation of your kit is so nice, feels special. Liked the inclusion of a handy sticker to stick your instructions to the mirror, sounds small but all these touches help to make the process easier if you have a small en-suite. (Id even go as far and say a suction plug on the back of the timer would be a great idea). But more importantly the colour itself produces excellent results. I had a lot of golden highlights on dark brown hair and the the colour dyed them away evenly. I felt I’d gone too dark though (originally ordered dark brown but have switched to medium for future orders) so I just continued to wash my hair with a clarifying shampoo for 4 days and some of my golden highlights have peeked through which has accidentally provided a very nice multidimensional tone to my hair. Have added a red tone neutraliser to my next order to keep on top of any unwanted tones. Slightly darker on ends than I wantedTo avoid the brassiness I encountered on my first try my stylist suggested a slight shade darker to remove golden tones. It came out much darker than the last box did. A bit darker than I wanted. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |
