You made me cry!I’m a nurse practitioner in emergency medicine. To say this year has been tough would be an understatement. I haven’t had a haircut in over a year because I don’t want to accidentally expose a stylist or other clients to COVID from my patients. So I took a chance and tried the eSalon color. I put on an old shirt, crossed my fingers, taped your instructions on the bathroom mirror, and did my best to apply it like I’d seen done so many times in a salon. 30 minutes later I absolutely cried. THANK YOU. It’s PERFECT. I can’t believe I could make my own hair look this great! I will be forever grateful to you - and you’ve earned a loyal customer. Horrible customer service and the product is no betterWhen I filled out my initial questionnaire one of the things they asked is when I would be ready to use the kit. I said in about 6 weeks. It arrived a few days later. Six weeks later I am ready to use it -just about when I said I would be. But, when I opened the kit tonight, I discovered that the directions say you need plastic clips. They were not enclosed (so much for getting "everything you need") and I would have to pay another $10 plus shipping to get them. I resent having been told I would be sent a complete kit when the very first instruction in the directions mentions an item that I wasn't sent, and no alternatives are suggested. Adding insult to injury, because I was sent my kit way before I said I would need it, I am past the 30 day limit to return it. When I wrote to customer service they responded basically by saying "tough." Didn't offer to rush me the clips, didn't give directions for how to proceed without them. I am not interested in giving business to a company like this and you shouldn't be either. UPDATE The above review dealt only with customer "service" since at the time I hadn't tried the kit. I used it last night and am very unhappy. 1. The haircolor kit is significantly messier and more difficult to use than others I have used. I told.myself that at least this would probably be superior, salon quality color. NOPE. Read on. 2. I requested a dark blond with ashy tones. Instead I got an orangey medium blond - sort of a rose gold color. Awful. My only hope is that it washes out quickly. Again - give this a pass. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |
