Colour came out Black not brown or copper or red.I've been with esalon for a while now and never had any previous issues with the hair dyes I have had so this is a first. I opted for a colour change dark brown copper red which was agreed with the colourist. Put this onto my hair within 2 washes the red faded and left a cool dark black overall colour on my hair (not happy to say the least) Black hair does not suit me or my skin tone. Sent an email via customer services, no response, rang the customer services explained the situation and how unhappy I am, the person who I spoke to was rude, no customer services manners/skills at all (work on that) I was then offered a free colour which I declined no red colour is going to sit ontop of black hair so your alternative was not accepted, I asked for a refund which I was granted, however due to your mistake and how unhappy as a consumer I am you should of as well offered me a gesture of goodwill, which you did not do. Poor customer services. Unhappy customer due to the colour not being correct I can even upload you a photo of the black hair if you like to show you this hair dye is not the colour its suppose to be (black) which I did not order black. And long time to deal with my enquiry had I not chased it up myself. Custom color - TonerColor was great match & lasted longer than expected. However the TONER which I used 2 weeks after the color turned my hair nearly BLACK!!! I will NOT be using the second set received & would like to return the toner for a refund. It was just awful... Great Color !!I Was hesitant at first. But I went ahead and purchased a personalized color. I am also a cosmetologist, and I love the color that they mixed for me. My color is still fresh. Just waiting to see how long it will be before my Grays are visible. So far there isn't any damage that I can feel. My hair is soft and luxurious. Not to mention the color in the sunlight. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!I used to buy grocery store brand hair color to cover my grays because it was both convenient and inexpensive. It certainly did the job but the color never lasted very long. I also became aware that it was damaging my hair.... that last part could be due to user error, but we'll never know since I won't ever again use store bought hair color! Once I tried eSalon, I was amazed with everything! The instructions, the ease of use, the items provided in the kit, all of it. But mostly I am so pleased and impressed with how long the color touch up has lasted! The cost is about 3 times more than what I was paying to color my own hair, but it is money very well spent! I absolutely LOVE my custom color!This was my first time using eSalon. I had originally selected the darkest brown with copper and mahogany undertones. When I spoke with my stylist, Danielle, she advised that the brown I chose would be very dark and would come out looking more black than brown. I definitely did not want that, I have a very fair complexion! Instead, she chose medium brown for me (I'm naturally a blonde, but my hair has been processed by bleach to keep the brighter color) with copper and mahogany. She told me that the colors are darker than they appear in the photos online, which was good because I wanted a more dark chocolatey brown than a standard brown. Well, Danielle really knows what she's doing! The adjustment she made to my custom color was absolutely perfect and I love my new hair color! I am thrilled with this service and have already been telling everyone about it!
