Turned out beautiful!!!My colorist did a mix of Medium Brown Violet. I really like how it turned out! The violet tones aren't really coming through too strongly, but the brassiness of my light brown/dark blond is completely gone! yay!!! I highly recommend purchasing the tools/cape to go with it. I've been using box dyes for years and never made much of a mess....but I decided to try the brush method and made a mess EVERYWHERE! DISAPPOINTEDFirst of all, I really like how gentle the product feels on my hair-the color, and the shampoo and conditioner do not feel harsh at all. I also don't feel the need to add an extra intensified hair conditioner just because I've colored my hair. I changed the formula from a demi-permanent formula to a permanent one and changed the color (I thought)-requesting a little more gold and mahogany. I was hoping that it was going to be a darker and richer color. Instead it barely looked as though I had even colored my hair, except for the covering the gray (which is a good thing). However, I noticed that I was sent a 20 volume developer instead of 10 like the last time, which would have made it more rich and darker looking. And now, I am already showing gray roots sooner than I normally do. (which is normally early anyway) 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Had to much brassy tonesMy first time i tried e salon filled out the questionnaire my biggest problem were reds and brassy tones that i didnt like so i gave it a try and it was just as bad as store bought hair colors was not happy at all 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Washes out and does not cover grey also made my hair brassyI’m most unhappy your first box washed out and didn’t colour greys so I had to buy a colour in the meantime you sent me a free one which I couldn’t use straight away as I had just coloured my hair. Before I had chance to use it another one arrived which you charged me for I tried again but it still washes out after a couple of washes and does not cover my grey but worst of all it has made my hair brassy 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Wrong colors sentI spoke with someone about my hair and what we should do with the color. She had me do 2 Demi colors and they were not even close to the colors we spoke about. Gray hair coverage is not goodI’ve followed the instructions for many years and even adjusted the process times to 45 minutes per esalon’s recommendation but my hair color no longer does a good job with covering my gray hairs and hair color washes off within 1 week of coloring. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
