Starter SetI was amazed at all I got with my first order. I was a little daunted about doing it myself but finally bit the bullet and did it last week so I am way off my 5 week reorder schedule. I absolutely LOVE my custom color which is brown with golden highlights. New Color FormulaI am so happy with the new color formula, a true strawberry blonde! My previous hair formula was a more coppery red which worked well for me in the past. Since I spent a number of weeks at the beach this year, my hair bleached to a more strawberry blonds, which I decided to keep. Not the color I wantedI want it to get the color disclosed to my natural hair and to dye my ends I add photos and everything. I color my hair for so many years now and this was not even close. They suggested dying my roots and then everything else. I DID IT! and now my hair is so much darker at least 3 shades difference and my roots have some reddish in it. THAT I TOTALLY HATE. I will wait for a little bit and I'm gonna use toner and try to lighten it. Overall was an easy and quick application. Left my Hair Damaged and Did Not Have the Gray Coverage I WantedI've colored my hair with other products, so I am not a newcomer to coloring. I hate leaving bad reviews and really wanted to like this product, but it left me with no choice. I followed the directions to the letter. Once I rinsed out the color, my hair felt coarse and wiry. After drying, it was uncombable until I put in a leave-in conditioning product. Additionally, I still had grays showing immediately after, so it didn't have the coverage I wanted. I really wanted to love thisI really wanted to love this at home system. Packaging is fancy. The colorist probably do know what they’re doing. But the lab and the product itself? My hair is a mess. It never covered my very little grays and whites and some parts of my virgin hair never grasped the color. My hair does feel soft. Would I keep my subscription? Probably not.
