Burned scalpColored hair with reccommended product. Third time using esalon color. This time, developer and color began a burning sensation almost immediately after applying. Could not leave it on for the reccommended 30 minutes per instructions. Rinsed out after 15 minutes. Now I have scabs and dry dead skin throughout my scalp. Very upset. Awful, just awfulBesides giving the visible parts of my hair unintended horizontal stripes of strawberry blonde, dark brown and mahogany, I have no idea what the back of my hair looks like. The smell while mixing was so strong and unpleasant that I could hardly breathe. It got much better after 5 minutes, and was gone by the time my hair was dry. I dyed it 5 days ago, washed it twice since, and it is falling out already. I'm going to a professional salon this weekend to get a correction...because they can see what they're doing even at the back, and they're trained in this. Not funThis was my 2nd coloring with eSalon custom color. The customer service is fantastic but coloring experience this time around was not pleasant. With my previous order I asked for longer gray coverage. I believe they did try to formulate a color this time to provide longer gray coverage. This color formula failed for me because it gummed up in my hair once I started the final rinsing. I believe this may have happen because there was too much of a synthetic binder trying to achieve the longer gray coverage, which also left a mess and made clean up more difficult. my hair is not as red as my store bought hair color aSadly my hair is not even close to the RED color it was with my store bought hair color. And everyone asks why I am changing my hair color to more or a brown color after all these years. I so wanted this to work for me as I heard such wonderful reviews.
