I'm very disappointmentThe results are not what I expected. I did not like the color that you sent me, and when I applied my hair turned out darker than my natural color and the one I usually apply. eSalon chose my color without taking into account my opinion. Poor customizing colorI submitted several photos over a 3 month period of the warm blonde coloring I desired. Time after time I received ashy blond kits that left me looking washed out with my light complexion. Very disappointed, I had hoped I would find a coloring system with home delivery. Not for me....My neighbor and I both tried eSalon at the same time; once we received our order my cousin (professional beautician of 20+ yrs) applied our color for us. The initial color for both looked awesome. Purchased in Sept. my neighbor still looks awesome mine however faded in less than two weeks and my gray came back wayyyyyyyy too early. Did not get good resultsI was hopeful when I saw the two different bottles of color for the roots and ends. But when I opened the bottles the smell was so strong. I followed the directions but now my roots are a pinkish color and it did not color all my gray. The ends are darker than expected. And my hair is now very dry, before coloring with esalon my hair was healthy and shiny. I will be going back to my old standby color. Doesn't cover my grayThis formula doesn't cover my gray hairs. It turns some of them a metallic red color and others don't grab the color at all. Disappointed:-(I am not pleased with my hair and now I never want to dye my own hair again. My color was way too dark and was the same color all over even though I was supposed to do my roots a different color than my ends. There are no clips included and two pairs of gloves are included although the directions instructed me to change my gloves three times! 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

In rare cases, one can develop sensitivity to hair color over time. This is why eSalon recommends performing a skin allergy test 48 hours before each hair color application. Instructions for the skin allergy test are included in our Product Safety & Usage guide with every hair color order. Great color/Don't LastI purchased this product in September 2016. I used it October 4th. While the color was fantastic and perfect due to my colorist and not my choice, it did not last as long as I thought it would. I chose the color for my hair but because of the pictures I sent in, "My" colorist saw that the colors I chose were too dark. She not only corrected the color but sent it out as well. She was ready to send out the darker color, if needed. My only problem was that the color didn't last long enough.
