good colorwhile the color was good, the amount of AMMONIA in the color was EXTREMELY TOO MUCH. I was coughing and choking during the process and I always wear a mask. It's not healthy at all. I will have to cancel my subscription due to health concerns. I do not ever want that much ammonia in my hair and touching my scalp. I was sent a dark blonde but it was clearly dark red not what I wantedI really want to try and color my hair at home but I do not want it red I am not sure what I can do now or in the future when it needs coloring I cannot walk around a red head.Please help what can I do to fix this?? Custom color? Wrong!I was contacted by Esalon saying they basically didn't think my chosen color was right for me so I allowed them to 'change' it for me. Big Mistake! Not too happy this time around!I used my hair dye on Dec. 15 and I followed directions as I did the last 2 times. This time when I shampooed, conditioned it and then rinsed it all out it felt very matted. For the next 7 days I had to rinse it with water and used a comb to get all the product off. Hair looks and feels badFirst $20 for one bottle is just to much, second it made my hair feel like straw and the conditioner you sent to help smelled so bad I was nauseous all day you claim a lot for the product but it's just not true at least the color was ok but not worth the problems I'm going back to the much Cheaper store bought color at least my hair feels better after I use it! 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Great color - Extremely irritating to my skinThe color is GREAT. This product is extremely irritating to my skin.... even more than the drugstore brands I have used in the past. Even though it cost a little bit more, I will go back to my other online brand that did not irritate at all. I had really hoped eSalon would work, but no way. I want to constantly scratch.
