Not what I expectedI ordered strawberry blonde, but the color did not so much strawberry as just medium blonde. It was so much like the color I already had that no one could tell that I had colored my hair at all. While the customer service has been excellent, and the actual color process was so much better than box color, I wish the color I received had been closer to what was stated. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Hard to removeThe color is ok but it is hard to washout of my hair. I have three boxes that I have not used under my sink. I have tried to cancel delivery but could not. So blandI asked for a reddish brown (more copper than auburn) and had selected medium brown pearl copper. There is absolutely no red tint to this color. I now have completely bland medium brown with no highlights, and am stuck for two months until I can dye it again without damaging. So disappointed 51 of 53 people found this review helpful. Colour much too darkI was nervous about using this as it said to only put on roots to prevent making other hair darker and then just before rinsing massage into other hair this should be for 1 minute which is what I did my roots are a horrible gingery colour much darker than before its awful i wanted lighter not darker very disappointed 9 of 10 people found this review helpful. Awful...harsh....made hair brittle ...caused breakageTerrible product it is harsh, dried-out hair, and causes breakage. After using the product my hair was so damaged. Don't use this on your hair! I used this over a month ago and am now struggling with getting my hair back into healthy shape. It's try, lacks luster and shine and looks awful. I followed the directions exactly. In addition, it was missing product it says it comes with a conditioner, but that was never in there. My first shipment arrived and the color bottle was leaking all over my doorstep. It was a mess. I will say, that the customer service was wonderful! I immediately called them, and they immediately send out a replacement shipment. They were polite and very accommodating. My interaction with the customer service team was Top Notch. That is the only good thing I have to say about eSalon. The product itself is one that I would never recommend anyone try. My hair is a ruined mess and it is going to take me a long time to get it back to its once healthy, lustrous , shiny condition. Basically, all I can do is wait till the damaged hair grows out. 1 order does not provide enough product for long hair. My hair is a little longer than shoulder length and there was not enough product to adequately cover the amount of hair I had. I needed two orders in order to adequately cover the amount of hair I have. The product is liquid color as opposed to a cream color . It's basically just like what you would buy in the grocery store, only with more steps and with harsher chemicals. my case this was a double process. You administer 1 series of color and then another series of color. It's time consuming and forces you to process your hair with these awful chemicals twice. I'm not a beautician. I'm not in the beauty business. I don't have any connection with any hair color Product Company. I'm just a regular consumer who thought I'd give this innovative product a try.
