Seemed great on day one; but I saw greys popping up all over after a couple daysSeemed great for a couple of days; but I saw plenty of greys popping up all over after a couple days, looking as if I missed a bunch of hair, which I know I didn't because you couldn't see them when I first did the color. The scent of doing it myself was a bit overwhelming (an ammonia like smell that burns my nostrils). Your Hair Color Plan is currently turned off as well. We always suggest applying your hair color in a well ventilated room to help with any overwhelming smell you may experience. While ammonia has a strong smell, eSalon and other experts believe it is a safer and more effective choice than the substitutes some other hair color companies use, such as Ethanolamine. No chemical smell after coloringMy hair looks and feels great, just like I expected from a salon-quality product. What I did not expect was the fact that it smells so good! Even at salons, I could sometimes catch the chemical whiff in my hair after it had been colored, but this product does not do that.
