Not any better than store boughtThe color received was not what i expected, first dissapointment. Last batch made me so itchy!I've used this product a number of times, but the last batch seemed different. It made my skin so itchy! I got a drop on my neck and that spot was particularly bad. Not For Touchups! :(The color turned out great, but I only used less than 1/4 of the product! :( I specified only for touchups around my face. There needs to be smaller vials of mixture maybe 4 vials per package. I had asked the question if I could save the unused product but quickly found out I could not! It started to bubble out and spill out all over. Very Disappointed. There needs to be a fix for this. I would like to have my money back since I did not get to use all of the product. Good results but not worth the effort...This is the third time I've used e-salon. The first two times I thought I must have done something wrong during application but now I've just realised the formula clearly doesn't agree with my hair. The application is easy, the colour is always nice but getting this out of my hair in the shower is truly awful. It clings to my hair so badly, it clumps into pieces under my finger nails and it takes 3-4 shampoos to get it off. Then once washed and dried it feels waxy in places afterwards. Like I said nice colour but I've never experienced hair dye clinging to my hair so badly before so will definitely stick to other hair dye brands! 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Too dark and horrible to wash outThe application process was easy enough, I enjoyed that it didn't have a strong smell and that it was pretty straight forward. That's kind of where the happiness ended. I applied the stain guard before colouring but I ended up with terrible stains around my hair line. The provided stain remover didn't do much to help. I appreciated that it was included but I'm not sure it actually helped. I usually use Vaseline as a guard and have no issues. The dye itself was miserable to get out. It was so thick, I was honestly scrapping it out of my hair and scalp on the few areas it got a little too rubbed in. Three shampoos later (including the provided shampoo which did smell lovely) and I finally feel like it's not caked in anymore. My hair feels disgusting the day after, not dry but very stringy and greasy. Almost matted. I did purchase and use the mask which probably helped. Add to all that, the color was supposed to be a dark brown, its black. It's one dimensional black. It looks terrible. I could've gone to a beauty supply store, spent $10 and had exactly what I wanted. Now... I have to pay to have my hair professionally lightened.
