Wow...love this colorThank you, I really love the color and the gray coverage could not have been better. Thrilled with the lack of ash or red!Just the right blond is soooo hard to get. My natural pale ash blond always accentuated the blotchy pink tones that are NOT AT ALL flattering. Seriously, we're not talking rosacia; but because there is so little pigment in my skin and hair, my Hollywood look-alike is Sissy Spacek in the movie Carrie :-( I'd rather be a look-alike of Desp. Housewives' Lynette Scavo or even the lovely Jody Foster. My "off-the-shelf"' box always had too much copper (Bernadette Peters circa 1972) or too much platinum (Ellen D) in it to look really natural. Once I used a mass-produced ash color and ended up running to the pro's with purple hair! What I got from eSalon is a light blond that looks totally natural without any red, gray or platinum! Custom colorI really like the color, but find I need to do an all-over coloring each time to get the same darker result. The color tends to fade more reddish by the time I color it again and I like to get back to the dark brown coloring. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Damaged HairI was very unhappy with the results and quality of this product. I had decent expectations, nothing too high, but nothing prepared me for how damaged my hair would be from this product. I wanted to cry, I lost so much hair and had to have 3-4 inches cut off after. Split ends all over my hair. After cutting so much, I still have damaged hair, it will be years before it goes back to normal. First, the process and product is messy, got everywhere. The color did not take, I followed instructions to the "t". I almost passed out from the fumes and chemicals on my head, absolutely toxic. And I was in a completely ventilated space. Worst of all it damaged my hair and no matter the color that cannot be changed. I have no idea as I have colored my hair for years but never experienced a product that damaged my hair like this. I have used bleach on my hair in the past and even bleach didn't damage my hair like this. I cannot recommend its use and see all of these positive reviews and am somewhat confused...wonder if it went bad or if the mix was wrong. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

To remedy this, we'd suggest a hydrating mask to help restore the hair in the meantime. Most of the time, if the product is too drying the concentrated color has been applied throughout the hair, which is not recommended. We apologize again for any inconvenience! |
