Not what I was going forThis color was not what I was going for. I received the first package which had the roots and the gloss and they were two different colors, which I thought was weird but I went along with it and followed the instructions. The colors ended up blending with Step 3, but it was not the color I was going for at all. It was way too light and too brown. It is more like having brown hair that looks red in a certain light. My real frustration was when I was communicating with the colorist. I told her several times that I wanted it to be as red as possible, but I still received a dye that had a lot of brown in it and she never made any adjustments to my formula, even after expressing my concerns. The box was shipped while I was still emailing with her about adjusting my color. Too red. Extremely disappointed.Wanted ash brown which is the closest to my natural color but in result got this red shade. I did ask color specialist to make sure that the color selection won't cause red shade afterwards. Extremly disappointed with the color. AWFULThis was one of the worst hair dyes I've ever used. The smell was almost toxic when I was using it, the color came out way darker than the picture, and my hair is now red tinged after using ASH BROWN??? I will never buy again. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Not impressedI was excited to get their custom color mix, instructions say to out on the roots first and those are red not brown.. after almost 3 weeks color still stains my towels.. Brassy HairHair turned brassy orange. Called Customer Service and color was adjusted. In December I put the adjusted color on my hair. Again hair more brassy than the first time. Called Customer Service again. In the time that’s passed I decided I will go to my hairdresser that I’ve used for years to correct the brassiness. Not so good.I colored my hair yesterday,and had a lot of hair fall out in the shower as well as when I combed it out,just kept falling out.Spoke to customer service today and was told it was because I have been coloring my hair for a while?? I never have had this happen to me ever before. So I totally disagree with whom ever I spoke with.Infact my hair never felt like it did when I rinsed it out.Didn't feel like my hair at all.Pretty sure it burnt or desolved my hair.WAY TO HARSH!!! Not the color I expectedI tried esalon for the first time last week after using Revlon for 30 years. I liked the product but I was disappointed with the color. I was expecting a medium auburn.
