new presentation of products is NOT GOOD ! COULD NOT unscrew new Bottle capPlease note that your new presentation of products is NOT GOOD; Last night impossible to unscrew this cap ( from new type of bottle, even with pliers ! I had to break cap with screw driver and hammer ! Complicated, dangerously and some of product lost ! Also product smells much more strongly like ammoniac than previously. New enveloppes of shampoo and conditioner ARE TOO SMALL, and CONTAIN TOO LITTLE to use after coloring. the color is still perfect, but I almost wasn't able to use the bottle of it! Didn't cover rootsI've been dying my light brown hair red in the salon for years, but thought I'd give it a try myself. I'm very happy with the overall color -- my ends had been fading and the new color is great, but the dye didn't really cover my roots, despite the fact that I left it on for 15 minutes before proceeding to the ends. There's no longer a bright line between my roots and the rest of the hair, so that's an improvement, but the roots are still really more brown than red. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. HorribleI tried it twice and both times came out WAY too dark, even though second time was supposedly formulated to be lighter. The customer service is horrible! It took me weeks to get my color changed. They are very slow to respond sometimes. First impressionsI am waiting for the timer to beep to rinse out my first attempt at coloring with eSalon. I figured I’d give my first impressions while I wait. The instructions were easy to follow. Having the bowl and brush made it so much apply than using the store brought brands. One of the gloves I got had a hole in it but not a big deal. My biggest complaint is I didn’t have enough product. I ran out 80% of the way through (this is going to look ... interesting). I tried squeezing every drop out of the bottle and any extra from other areas of my head to spread it around. I have long hair, so getting the same size bottle for roots and ends doesn’t make a lot of sense. Oh, there goes the timer. Wish me luck! It’s done. Here are my final impressions. The color seems even throughout even with a shortage of product. It’s a nice, rich tone and I like the color. My hair does seem a little dry, which I haven’t noticed with other products. Root coverageUnfortunately this colour does not cover my roots adequately. They appear too light against the rest of the hair. I followed instructions to the letter when I coloured my hair last week (20th January) and now it looks like I should be colouring the roots again.
