Wrong color team ignoring my request.I had sent previous emails and photos that I do not like color and it was the wrong color for me. I tried to adjust it and I was ignore. I just got my order again with the same color that I have requested a change of it. Obvios nobody saw or read my emails. DisappointedI found this hair colour no different to the shop brand box after 1 week i can see my grey appearing the colour was to dark not as expected the condition of my. Hair was no different to the shop box s!! Mixed feelingsThe kit and directions were easy to follow. The end color is OK. It's a little darker than I like, but I took a risk and went a little out of my comfort zone so that's on me. My biggest complaint is that I'm several days out and I'm still losing color in the shower. I would think it would have settled by now. I just bought a very expensive sheet set and I'm afraid to sleep on it without a towel to protect my pillow because I don't trust the dye not to transfer. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. strong smell, afraid for eyesThis is my second time. The last time and this time, I was afraid that my eyes were damaged. I thought it was maybe the bowl vs the bottle but this time, even with the bottle, the burning smell of the dye seems worse than others I have tried. Also, both times, bits of gray at the front. Poor color coverage on my roots. Excessive hair loss.This was my first time trying esalon, after using a store brand for many years to touch up my roots in between salon visits. The shipped product had plenty of color product to apply which was great, however, after leaving the color on for the amount of time advised in the instructions, I still had grey showing through the color on my roots. Also, I noticed an excessive amount of hair in my comb and brush after I combed my hair while wet, and then used my normal hair dryer and a brush to dry and style. DisappintedDisappointed I bought his color in Jan and let it set b/c I had recently boxed colored my hair. Just did it yesterday and my hair is near black. Really disappointed I’m getting another box on auto ship when your emails are so sneaky you cant tell it’s going to ship until its too late. Your shipping emails should have a subject line, otherwise it looks just like your spam emails. The color is probably what I asked for at first (no red tone which is nice) but now I’m stuck with black hair and another black color coming in the mail. Store bought is betterThe color is good itself. However I do not like the thick residue that it leaves behind. I have had some serious problems with eSalon hair color.Both times that I tried eSalon hair dye (once in salon and once at home), the dye faded really quickly - within a week or two - and my hair became less manageable each time. I even bought and used only eSalon shampoo and conditioner for months, but I could barely run a brush through my hair at the roots after I showered. When I dyed my hair at home, I followed the instructions to a T, but manageability got worse after that application. I have since purchased other shampoo / conditioner products to try and remove the dye and help my hair become more manageable again... it is a slow process, and I've never had this much trouble with my hair in my life. I was greatly disappointed - I really hoped that eSalon would be the magical 'salon quality' product I was looking for, since I just don't have the time to sit for hours in a salon.
