SurprisedI don't have the nicest hair - fine, frizzy and so curly it makes Orphan Annie's hair look straight. It snaps off as it grows and I have spent my life dictated by the weather. Having found a form of a Brazilian relaxer to give me the hair I always wanted my next mission was color. Being frustrated by increasing prices at the salon (just for color - I always leave with wet hair) and prissy hairdressers, I decided to color on my own. Only problem was trying to get grey roots to take color. After reading the reviews on esalon, I figured it was no different then any other over the counter product and I had nothing lose. I am extremely surprised at the results. No dripping, very very little odor and grey coverage was magical. 2.5 stars. Love the color hate the way my hair feelsLet me just say I love this color. It is everything I've ever wanted. With that said... the 1st time I used it, my color felt Nasty greasy and weighed down. I spoke to a customer representative and they said, oh you just didn't rinse good enough. Okay, I rinsed same as always but maybe this requires more. So, I just did my hair again yesterday following step by step. I rinsed my hair for 20 min scrubbing and squeezing till every last drip of color was gone than I shampooed with shampoo provided. I could see oils at base of my shower. My hair is still nasty. I grab baby shampoo and shampoo again.... still nasty... I grab more baby shampoo and my personal shampoo and shampoo again. STILL NASTY! I rinsed rinsed and rinsed some more, STILL NASTY!!! Today at work, my hair is in a pony tail bc it looks and feels like I soaked it in a bottle of oil. Love the color, hate the rest! I just cancelled my reorder from now on. The only product that ever did this to my hair was the loreal mouse reusable dye. Ill stick to my Clairol from now on. Perfect Match to color I picked out on line!I don't know how you do it but this is the best coloring experience I have ever had. I have always bought retail commercial hair colors and dyed it myself at home. It is always the same. I pick out my light blond product ,sit for 45 minutes and come out with a kind of buff all over color except where I have very silver grey over and around my ear and that shows through a bit here and there. After about a week it starts to fade and within 3 weeks it is more white then blond all over. This hair color is the exact color I was shown online. Exactly. It's very natural looking with high lights and there is absolutely no silver showing through anywhere. It is absolutely beautiful. I am buying fade resistant hair care products tomorrow! If this color lasts me 8 weeks without washing completely away you will have a customer for life. I just cannot believe how beautiful and natural this is. BAD REACTIONOf course the pretty package comes, directions on top and I was eager to start. I NEVER had a reaction to the color at my high end salon before but as I put the first solution on my roots, my hair started to BURN like FIRE!! I didn't want to waste the $...but my scalp was burning red and after only 6 minutes a root application I had to rinse it out..... not only did the coloring product come out but so did A TON OF MY HAIR! My scalp was still burning 6 hours later lying in bed and today as it sits in a ponytail. MY SCALP STILL BURNS!!!
