Did not cover the grayUsed exactly as directed and was very disappointed that it did not cover the gray that all other boxed sets do. The color was okay, nothing to rave about. Not RecommendedAs a natural redheaded, I just wanted the same color just more vibrant. I asked for a Copper blonde and they made me a RED AUBURN. Brown with red. It was all one color. I would have been fine with Orange. Copper isn't red or brown. It's orange and blonde. Also to note that the color DIDN'T cover my ultra blonde (Grey hairs). So it was Red Brown with white blonde hairs. Looks Horrible. The color was terrible and even after the past 2 weeks. The RED BROWN hasn't changed at all. I'm extremely disappointed. SMELL!!When I open the bottle the smell of ammonia was breathtaking and I don't mean that in a positive way. The color while pretty, is very red for my coloring and I said that I was a medium blond. The biggest problem I have is the smell it was so overpowering that I had to open all the windows on the bottom half of my house. Wrong colorThe color to cover regrowth was correct but they gave me another color for the older, previously colored hair and it was way too much red. Very disappointed since I did not want red. I wanted brown. I thought the bottle seemed like it had too much red. I am not sure if it was a combination of the wrong mix for the ends and maybe the wrong developing time.
