UnsatisfactoryDid not like this hair dye system at all. Stained my bathtub like crazy, did not change my hair colour whatsoever even though I followed the steps to a tee, and the leave in conditioner I purchased separately is terrible as well, Pantene spilt end remedy does the best job and for a fraction of the price. Better off purchasing a store bought hair dye cause it's cheaper, works way better and will not stain your bathtub. So unhappy...waste of money and time. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Made a lot of mess and mistakesI hesitated to do my hair cause esalon sent me another bottle to do the whole hair. I wished I’d talk to someone before doing this... My hair color got darker... When I applied the first bottle, my hair got really rough like I couldn’t brush off my hair. This led me to make mistake when I applied the second bottle. I usually use brush to apply color to my roots. But I went on with the recommendation from the video by the using the bottle for my second step and it was a huge mistake. My restroom... got stains all over the place. Also permanently too. I spent so much time cleaning and where do I start for the hair... My top part of my hair is lighter and darker in the bottom. I missed couple of gray hair which I never do after covering my gray hair for 5yrs. I was so stressed out about the fact I had to color the whole hair, I literally made mistakes. The good part about the color is that I don’t look too red.. I had a bad experience changing my hair... Product consistency is too runny!It's a challenge to color "only your roots" when the product won't stay where you put it. The consistency is too thin and needs to be improved. The gloves delivered with my kit were very poor quality. The dye leaked through the gloves and onto my hands and fingers. It made a complete mess of a very expensive manicure. I'm no novice to "at home hair color." I would have done better to buy a drug store color versus investing time and energy attending to dye running down my neck and forehead. Very messy and extremely disappointing. The positive upside is that the color looks good and my scalp is not itchy at all. I'd love to give this product another try when you take steps to improve the consistency to a thicker stay put version. Finally, the customer service I recieved when I called to cancel my subscription and share my opinion was very good. The representative was positive and apologetic. Her attitude as great. She refunded a set that I had received prior and extended a credit on one that had lapsed the approve return time frame. There was no effort to respond to the mess created by the kit I used today.
