Color still too brassyI had requested a color change because there was a lot of red in my color. My next order still pulled some red in my hair. It was a little brassy. Not greatThe end product was an ash brown, not what I was expecting. It may due to the fact I had gone grey for a few years and this was the first color. I’ve ordered from salon in the past and have been very pleased. Did not cover graySorry but was not impressed. The color didn’t cover my few grays I have. Also I got a root touch up color that isn’t the same color as the first color. So now I have to go get my hair fixed. Very disappointing. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Totally wrong colorThis was, I think, my 3rd attempt with esalon color. The first kits were used following exact instructions and there was no color change from before coloring to after. No gray cover up, no noticeable before to after color change. This time I switched out the 20 volume developer for 10 volume and there was color change all right. A totally different color which I'm sure will be blamed on the developer switch. There was no strawberry in this strawberry blonde and a medium almost ashy blonde was the result. It was a shocking color change when I went into work the next day. I was looking for a light shade of strawberry blonde to cover my graying temples. Total coverageAlthough this coloured all my hair and greys it took my hair back to its natural colour medium brown and I lost all the purple/ plum I had before. I tried the purple tint wash to add tones but it didn’t work . 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |
