NOT DEMI PERMANENTI wanted my hair light brown. My Demi permanent colored hair was fading from when I got it colored at a salon so I thought it would be any easy touch up. My hair went from fading neutral light brown to red brown with lots of warm undertones. I went to my hair dresser to get my hair fixed and she said they sent me PERMANENT hair color because it dyed my roots and she could see a spot I missed and my roots weren’t dyed. Do not buy this is you expect Demi permanent. My order receipt literally said I ordered Demi. Also they didn’t send me enough dye. Not exactly what I’d hoped forNot exactly the result I’d hoped for. The roots covered well, but the length application bottle wasn’t enough for my long hair and the result is lighter/patchy on one side. The overall effect tonally is closer to where I wanted to be however the ‘copper’ colour wasn’t near bright enough and has faded really quickly. The repurchase is saying it will only end a bottle for my roots but it’s the body of my hair that needs to most dye and more colour retention for a ‘copper’ look. Like all the restI really wanted to love this product. And they have an excellent marketing campaign. Salon product etc. But this product gives me no better coverage Integrity of color than all the over the counter products and I’ve tried them all. I’ve even kept it on for an hour or more. It washes out fast And i use John Sebastian for brunettes Color shampoo and conditioner once a week as It has no sulphate etc. Doesn’t work for me. Too expensive for over counter results. After posting this review I received an email stating the various ways to keep my color fresh. I am 60 years old. I use every one of these precautions. . No hot or even warm water. I use lukewarm at best, color safe shampoo and conditioner for colored hair and for brunettes, no other styling products, no hot styling tools, etc. I don’t do much with my hair. The bottom line is it’s just not a better product than the over the counter stuff I can purchase for half the price. And it does have that weird waxy feel to it which I don’t like at all. Not a clean feeling. Make hair clumpy when rinsing it. I am canceling my auto ship. I postponed it but there’s no need to continue it.
