Damaged HairThis was my second time to color my hair with E-Salon. I followed the directions and after I shampooed and conditioned my hair, I had to wash it again and it still felt waxy. Couldn’t get all the color out. Called customer service and they suggested I use baking soda with the shampoo and that should take care of the issue. While it helped, I still had to wash my hair 2 more times, so 6 times in all to get all of the color out and I was left with damaged hair. I called back again and they said they would send me some repair shampoo and conditioner. Before this I had hair below my shoulders and I ended up having to cut my hair short to right at my neckline because it was so damaged. packaging and hair dye.I give it a 3 star because I liked how it was packaged and the directions. I have dyed my hair many times. When I placed my order I stated that when I dye my hair a darker brown it has red tint and when I dye it lighter it has a orange tint. Not pleased with the color . Way darker than what I selectedI was unable to get to the salon before the 2020 corona virus state shut down. I ordered a color that was medium brown, and told my colorist that I wanted something to get the red out. She adjusted the color and I was sent DARK brown because she thought the original color I selected would be too "warm". I have nothing against warm, it was the reddish orange color I didn't want. I am almost fully gray, so now I have dark red where I was gray and almost black for the rest of my hair. I am sad that I was sent such a dark color. After what seemed like an eternity of back and forth with the consultant, she said to patch test the color before hand but I couldn't stand waiting another week with no color for my hair, so I tried it. major breakagestarted using esalon when my box color was discontinued. i used it pretty regularly for about a year, it took some time to get color right. quit using it a couple months ago when i noticed chunks of hair breaking off. haven’t colored hair at all recently and still noticing breakage. i have very long hair, considering cutting it short the damage is so bad. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Too orangeIt seems like the 2 bottles were switched. I DID NOT mix them up. I'm very used to coloring my hair. But bottle one was supposed to be more dark blonde than gold and mahogany but my roots look ORANGE!!! Not dark blonde. Not mahogany. Orange. Not happy whatsoever. And the smell!!! The second bottle was so bad it was hard to breath in the shower for the last step. This was not worth $10 deal, let alone if they want more for another try. Just.....
