Too Dark!I sent pics and looked at the pics online but the color was too dark. I normally purchase medium ash brown Clairol Root touch up for in between salon styling. But the esalon medium ash brown was DARK ASH brown. Very disappointed. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

The color match is spot on.I really like the color, the match is perfect. The packaging and tools are great, the shampoo/conditioner is great but I think that the gray coverage is not the best. I last colored 9 days ago and there are little grays re-emerging right along the front hair line right at my forehead. Additionally, the color seems quite drying. This isn't a huge issue as I can deep condition as needed but still an issue since I have used store bought box colors that actually improved the overall condition. I like that I can color my hair whenever I want to.The color match is almost perfect. I do have an issue though; the color doesn’t cover my grey around the edges and it doesn’t last like salon color. InadequateThis is the second time I’ve tried Esalon in the last six years. Both times I’ve wanted all over color and both times they only sent me root touchup color. Off a Few ShadesI was embarrassed when I saw the color. It was not what I expected and I tried hard to make sure that I provided pictures and information to get the right shade or very close to it. I just talked with a representative and they are sending me a highlighter kit and the next color free, so I am trying to see what happens, but I am discouraged that it's so much darker than I expected. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Extremely disappointed with the colorI was so excited for my color to get here because it was “created for me”. My color choice was darkest brown mahogany copper stated my color was soft black and from the color match it SHOULD have been just as the description of my color selection . But I ended up with blackest black !! I never was that dark as a kid....it’s as if I walk into any store and purchased an inexpensive boxed color.
