No graysAloha, I was happy that the color covered my grays, but i think the color overall was too dark. I expected some kind of golden brown that would lift some color from my dark hair. The shampoo smells great lots of lather, sorry not happy with the conditoner. After blow drying, my hair felt dry, no shine. Did not workI dyed my hair before doing this from a black to a dark brown. I ordered the violet/brown. In the picture, it showed purple. When mixing the solution with the developer, it was purple. Somebody please explain how my hair turned to black! I followed the directions to the tea, and it made my hair darker with no color tint at all. #Terrible 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Not customized, roots onlyI was sent a kit for roots only. I need color for all of my hair as it is usually medium brown and I color it copper/red. Most of the red has faded. I was sent a "custom" medium brown that is apparently not red at all. I'm not willing to try and ruin my hair. I was never able to get in touch with a stylist and finding a way to return/get your money back is confusing and time consuming. No thanks. Update: I was sent a form email response telling me to do a strand test, even when my feedback was that I do not have enough color and do not want brown in my color (the color wheel in the instructions provided shows WAY more brown than I wanted). My request for a refund has been ignored. My questions about why I was sent a color with so much brown when I asked for red and why the kit is roots only are still unanswered. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Easy to apply but colour wasn't what I asked for....The process of applying was a breeze and the kit contains everything you need to colour your hair. Sadly I asked for a cool/neutral shade of brown with no red or golden tones. The result is extremely red/golden so it's not what I asked for. My hair feels pretty healthy and the colour is vibrant but it's much warmer than I asked for. Great service but not really thrilled with the end result. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did not Cover Gray roots at all!I was excited to try this custom hair color at home since not being able to get to my hairdresser. Product arrived with easy to follow directions, but the gray coverage was terrible, did not cover at all. Wrong ColorI ordered a light brown ash color. What I got was a medium cinnamon brown. The results I got were nice, but not what I wanted. I have been able to achieve the ash brown I was going for more successfully with drugstore box color. The fact that I can't look at a color chart after ordering makes me think that the stylist formulate the color how they want to and not to the liking of the client. The kit was nice though. Made my hair way darker!!I had been a beautiful redhead for 20 years. This color turned my roots/hair way darker. Did not cover grayI used the eSalon hair color on my gray roots following all instructions and the suggested time needed to cover and match hair color. The temples did not color and a few areas on front top of head did not take the color. Not sure what happened since my gray roots were totally saturated with dye and I let it sit for the whole time. 3 x not a charmI wrote to e salon to not send my color. They said I would get an email when shipped which I didn't. They said it would be delayed I get that. So I told them to cancel order because last 2 orders to brown and this one lighter but still brown I did not want gold. When I called to cancel they said it was shipped.I said I did not get an email. They said to send back but I have to pay shipping. I do better on my own although I had to bleach the to get last color out.It is 7 hours later still have not been notified it shipped . If it was shipped this morning it would of been scanned. I was asked to understand why it was late.
