Did not cover graysI am very unhappy. The color did not cover the grays at my roots. And the color is not at all what I hoped for/ thought I had requested. I asked for something a little more red/golden. It is very brown. No one contacted me to discuss my color, as I was expecting based on what you claim you do. Wrong colorI wanted light brown, it’s dark brown! I wanted NO red, and it has lots of red undertones. I’m so disappointed. Charged but not receivedI got the initial product but continued to get charged and never received any more product. I never received any refund for the products that I paid for and never received either. I can't give them any kind of product review when I can't even get the product! Didn’t do anythingI have red hair. I wanted to go blonde. When asked if I wanted to send a note to my colorist, I wrote that in there. That I have naturally red hair that I wanted lightened to blonde so I could eventually go pink. When sent my items I was excited but I left the coloring on for an hour and it did nothing. When I emailed to let them know, I was told my colorist said I’d need to go into a salon and they couldn’t help with red to blonde. But that they were giving me a free color credit.. what good is a color credit going to do for me if you just said you can’t help me? So I’m out money. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Gloves missing, can’t use the hair color they sentAfter they shipped they sent me an email to say only one pair of gloves was being sent. Too late for me to stop shipping. I understand they want to help emergency workers, but I am on lockdown, a senior citizen, can’t go out to buy gloves, or to get my hair done. I thought Salon would be helpful and easy but I was mistaken. I only used Salon once before when the badly stained gloves could not be reused. I probably will stop using this product for this reason. Great Service, Poor ResultsFrom start to finish, the esalon process felt smooth, streamlined, and easy. The colour I selected after the quiz was exactly what I was looking for, and the formulation and shipping were super quick. I also got updates at every step along the way, which was great. The package that came contained everything needed, with clear, easy-to-follow instructions, and nice little touches like your name on the bottle and a sticker to hang the instruction pamphlet while you work. Unfortunately, the only negative part of the process was the colour itself, which is kind of a big deal. I was given two different formulations for roots and ends, and the result was supposed to be an intense copper (natural redhead). What actually happened was that my roots now barely look any different from the natural medium/ash blonde I started with, and my lengths/ends look a completely different colour. But not even the colour I was hoping for - it turned out more of an Auburn, with a weird pink overtone to the copper that almost looks more like rose gold than copper/red. I was very careful to follow instructions and times; I wasn't expecting perfect salon quality results, but I was certainly expecting better than this. The result I got is not a terrible colour, and the roots being different almost looks like a balayage. My hair isn't ruined, and as far as the condition, it still feels nice. However, it is not even close to what I wanted and I'm very disappointed how far off the mark this colour is. I could have gotten a closer/more even result if I stuck with a standard box. At the end of the day, no matter how great the rest of the experience was, this was a waste of time and money and I'm still left needing to correct my colour. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Not for grays...This covers gray for about three weeks and then fizzles. Application directions followed, left a little longer on, hair color looked fantastic for about two weeks. Still smooth though, just grays are sparkling. The color was very dark, I prefer the previous version. I also requested a lighter shade to blend the gray so this was a bit disappointing to get a darker shade bc in good faith customers apply it and then it’s super dark. I had to bring the color down to the roots for a few minutes to be sure the color would flow. I do like the color, bc I like dark shades but not what I asked if that makes sense. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |
