Wrong color!!!So I was so excited to finally have hair color specific for me. Unfortunately that thought bombed!! My hair color is no where near the light blonde I ordered, plus there's alot of red, in my notes to my stylist I informed them I pull red tones therefore color has to contain Ash, normally I simply highlight ugh I'm so frustrated right now!! 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Directions were not right for meI just finished coloring my hair with my first e salon kit. The directions said for me to color my roots first and let it sit for 15 minutes and then color the ends and let them sit for 10. I did not even let the color sit on my roots for the full 15 minutes and they came out WAY darker than the rest of my hair. Also, I do not think 10 minutes is enough for the ends because I still have some brassiness. Color was completely different than my orderI ordered medium blond and my hair after application is medium red/brown!! It’s not even close to what I selected. My husband didn’t even recognize me - he said I look like I’m wearing a wig. So disappointed. I had tried Nice & Easy before eSalon and it turned out fantastic. Grey coverage not as good as hoped forI was thrilled to get my eSalon order. Having gone to salons for over 20 years and spending literally thousands of dollars, I couldn’t wait to start. I knew how to color my own hair, but also watched and read all the materials to ensure the best results. Unfortunately my greys are color resistant, so the color did not penetrate well and faded quickly, even using high quality shampoo for color treated hair. Please, no more bottle application, always with a brush!This was my second order from esalon.com. The first time I was sent the same set, but the dye was to be applied with the brush. I was very happy and the color came out great. This order came with the bottle applicator. Maybe it works for a professional, but not for an amateur who needs to apply it all by herself. An extremely messy, cruel, and frustrating experience! As the result, the color was not even applied evenly and I am still left with grey spots. I plan to give esalon.com another chance.
