Bad scene!I received my color box in mid-May but just colored yesterday May 24. I was surprised to see the box didn’t include the rat tail brush for application of the color since I used the brush/bowl technique before & it worked out ok. I checked the instructions/ contents list of items and no brush. Since I only had the bottle this time I tried that and what a MESS! My hair is thick and below shoulder length. I could not get a good part just using bottle tip - which is blunt. The parts become more random as I went, my hair got goopy with color and tangled, and color got on areas it should not have. I had to rub the color in at the roots and hope it would cover the gray as needed and not the previous color. My thick, long hair is not easy to color by myself at best. This was an especially difficult process with the bottle only and a very frustrating & disappointing experience. If you no longer include the brush as part of the package, I want to know that because I need it to successfully apply color. Way Too Much Red!!I should have known when I saw the word copper, this was not the right color for me. It has Way tooo much red in it, in fact I didn't want any red... I picked a medium blonde. Maybe its the more gray my hair turns, the more red highlights come out. I'm going to give it one more try with adjustment of color. I like the whole kit plan though. Do not useIt literally turned my hair orange. I sent 3 pictures of my hair and explained what I wanted - no red tones, cool ash tones, & to get rid of brassiness in my highlighted hair. This turned my hair literally bright orange, I have never had this happened to me before with box dye. I wish I had never used this product. Wrong color!!!So I was so excited to finally have hair color specific for me. Unfortunately that thought bombed!! My hair color is no where near the light blonde I ordered, plus there's alot of red, in my notes to my stylist I informed them I pull red tones therefore color has to contain Ash, normally I simply highlight ugh I'm so frustrated right now!! 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Directions were not right for meI just finished coloring my hair with my first e salon kit. The directions said for me to color my roots first and let it sit for 15 minutes and then color the ends and let them sit for 10. I did not even let the color sit on my roots for the full 15 minutes and they came out WAY darker than the rest of my hair. Also, I do not think 10 minutes is enough for the ends because I still have some brassiness.
