don't judge by my stars! This product is great!I only choose 3 stars because I can't get my color right...not the stylists fault at all!!! The color is great just not what I am looking for currently. A little disappointed.On my third week I noticed that my roots were turning gray. It was my understanding that it would last longer than store brands. It was a little better but was disappointed. We're is the dark blond, it's dark redI tried esalon to cut cost. I think it's great but it's not for me. I wanted dark blond with no red. I got dark red. I have to say it disappointed me. I had high hopes but the red is too much so I'm scheduled to get it done professionally. The product also dried my hair out and I haven't had dry hair this bad in the past. The packets of shampoo and conditioner is for short hair. Not enough for longer hair. Sadly disappointedThe packaging of this system is beautiful. Such attention to detail, love how they labeled everything with my name and supply great instructions. Unfortunately, I did not have good results. There were 2 colors in my set, one for the roots and one for the ends with individual instructions on how/when to apply each. First, I now have a very clear "line" across my hair where the two colors were applied. It did not cover my existing highlights very well which is what I ordered the system to do. Second, the color is very flat, very dull. And finally, worst of all, my previously soft hair is now rough and looks and feels like straw. I now have to put finishing oil on it to make it feel smooth and keep it from kinking. I tried conditioning it. The color boosting conditioner I also bought stains your hands and ears, leaves dark "tracks" down your neck where it runs down and stains the grout in the shower. I am so disappointed in my color results and in the condition of my hair after using this system. But that's the risk of going through an online source. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
