Blonde to gray transitionI requested a lighter formula for my hair color to begin to blend in with my natural gray. The color is great. I feel that the colorist gave me very clear instructions to color my roots first and the rest of my hair at the end of processing time. My only regret is now my husband says I look like an old woman. Not funThis was my 2nd coloring with eSalon custom color. The customer service is fantastic but coloring experience this time around was not pleasant. With my previous order I asked for longer gray coverage. I believe they did try to formulate a color this time to provide longer gray coverage. This color formula failed for me because it gummed up in my hair once I started the final rinsing. I believe this may have happen because there was too much of a synthetic binder trying to achieve the longer gray coverage, which also left a mess and made clean up more difficult. Not only did the color gum up in my hair but it did not achieve the silky shiny effect like it did in my first color experience. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

my hair is not as red as my store bought hair color aSadly my hair is not even close to the RED color it was with my store bought hair color. And everyone asks why I am changing my hair color to more or a brown color after all these years. I so wanted this to work for me as I heard such wonderful reviews. Not for me...I questioned the color choice when setting up profile. Told them the color I previously used was dark brown. Emailed e-salon about my concern that the color would be too dark. It took me until today to get the nerve up to even do a strand test. As I said, this color is way too dark and Mahogany color.
