Flat non-deminsionable colorI had my friend who used to work in salon, help me with my coloring. We followed the directions to a T. My hair is a very flat dark brown. Not all it’s cracked up to beDuring the pandemic i was looking for a way to manage my greys while my hair stylist was unavailable due to reoccurring lockdowns. Then, I stumbled on esalon and figured I’d hit the jackpot - affordable haircare that wouldn’t kill my hair like drugstore dye. I really wanted to love this product, but I just didn’t. I picked a subtle purple because I’m WFH and figured I could experiment. The colour I got was nothing like I ordered... in fact, while it did dye my bathroom purple, it left my hair more of an auburn red. Thought the purple tint rinse would help, but it didn’t. When I contacted esalon to cancel my subscription they offered to send me a revised custom colour at no cost... I still wanted to love them so I gave it a shot. Unfortunately, same result :( not even a hint of purple. Plus, now that it’s been about 4 weeks I’m noticing how bad it fades... I’d honestly rather have greys poking out than what I’ve been left with. Great customer service (hence the 2 star), but I certainly won’t be ordering again. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Good color but damagingThis has been damaging my hair worse than bleach did. The color is at least almost spot on to what I want.
