be very careful which color you select nitiallyThe quality of this product is just great. My hair was shiny and soft and the shade resisted fading very well. Unfortunately, I chose a shade that was too red and too dark. I can lighten slightly with each new application of color, but it is only applied at the roots, so I'm stuck with the bright red. Color lovely but does not lastI have now tried 3 rounds of eSalon color. My color formulation has changed several times to try to get it right. While I appreciate the flexibility of the eSalon team, my color just never landed in the right zone. On the one occasion that I really liked the color, it faded within 3 weeks, starting to fade after the first wash. The color was supposed to be permanent and I used the Heart Lock It shampoo and conditioner. Ultimately, this was pretty spendy, non-permanent color. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
