confused with optionsGreetings I was befuddled to receive 2 different colors in the box (remember I am a layman not a salon worker) The first was for the roots which matched my natural color-which i havn't been since I was in high school, Im 51; then, there was a more coppery tone to wash thru the length of hair. In the esalon defense a color chart was supplied to recognize the difference but why would I use two different colors? Anyway I used the 1st color, my more natural root color and brought that thru my hair which is a lovely tone however not the color I was hoping for. So far so goodLove the color, very close to my color. My only complaint is that I wish it did a better job on my gray hair. It seems to have trouble covering my shorter sides. That is the reason for the 4 stars and not 5. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

My hair turned orange.I don’t know what happened. The first bottle that they had sent me foamed up purple. I’ve never had a hair color turned that color. My hair turned orange. Easy to use and a beautiful colorMy goal was to tone down my blonde highlights and better blend the dark roots growing in. I tried Dark Ash Blond color and it was perfect. It lightened my roots and darkened the highlights to create a beautiful all over color. The highlights still peak through which I love (I wiped off some of the color from a few highlighted strands half way through the processing). So easy to use and and saving so much time and money!
