Great color!E-salon has been tinkering with my formula to make my hair darker, closer to my real color (before the gray!). I love the color. However, the texture of my hair became like greasy straw, which is why I didn't rate 5 stars. E-salon customer service, however, gets 5 stars. Flat colour and just as messy as any other home colour.If you think there is anything special about this then you will be disappointed. The colour is flat - nothing like any of the images around the site. It's as messy to do as any home colour. It costs twice as much and they want you to keep buying so keep your details online so you can't just forget about it as it'll turn up and you'll have paid - so beware of that and cancel between orders so you don't get caught out. Don't waste your money - for twice as much you can go to a standard local hairdresser - for half as much you can buy a box from Boots or Superdrug - either option is preferable. 23 of 25 people found this review helpful. love that it comes in the mail & is cheaper then going to a salon by farI give 3 stars because I sent a note to my stylist here about what colors I love, dark deep reds & purple, & got a more copper orange tone. Yuck! The color also did not even match the pictures I submitted. Did she even look?? I will try again & hopefully be listened to. Beyond that... the color stayed in quite well. Amazing!!After trying different brands of drug store products I decided to try e salon color. I will NEVER go back! This product is wonderful easy to use and makes my hair look and feel fantastic. AWESOME!!!!!I have tried many hair colors, but the one I received from esalon was the best. It was generated for my hair specifically from the information that I gave them. It was shipped to me quick and nicely package with easy instructions. I love how the color took to my hair and the vibrant color, shine gloss and softness my hair have after using the hair color.
