The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars...I think a bigger bottle would be great. Even using it on roots only, if you have long hair I have found that you need to use a little more to touch up and refresh your hair. Otherwise it is brilliant. The scent is clean with no residue. Hate it!I have had my hair EVERY color under the sun - from the whitest white locks to the darkest of blue black tresses, so I am in NO WAY unimpressed with great color! This - was NOT great color.... It was way, way, WAAAYYY darker than I had anticipated, and I had noted when choosing the color that I wanted it lighter, warmer, with tones of red (I'm naturally a dark auburn... brown in regular lighting, but flaming red when the sun hits it just right)... What I got was a flat, drab, lifeless, dark espresso brown. Hate it. Don't want it. Not gonna use it ever again! If you don't want to invest in a professional doing your color for you, but you don't know which box to get at the Big-Box store nearest you? - I highly suggest a well-known brand like F&ri@ (I don't want to give out their names & thus advertise another product - but you SHOULD be able to figure it out, if not, you probably shouldn't use this brand anyway - you have to be able to read... haha). The chemical smell OMGI had to stop coloring because the smell was SO strong I honestly kept squinting my eyes and at one point was waving my hand around while I was coloring. This time the product made my hair feel and look different.My hair felt very different and the I did not like the end result. I did a root touch up and the color variation is noticeable and seems to almost look like there is more of a green hue ot it. I wasn't happy with this product this month. Did not cover grey roots correctlyFollowed the instructions explicitly. Left the color on roots around face and down part line the longest. The color in those areas turned brassy after 2 washings. Can tell they are lighter than rest of hair. Also my hair did not stay soft and shiny after 4th washing... Strawberry blondeI was looking to lighten my original hair colour and cover up a few grey hairs. I didn't expect my hair to look strawberry blonde bout dark blonde especially after getting a call from my colourist asking if I was looking to go strawberry blonde as my original choice in her opinion would turn it that colour 😩 So when l took her advice and went with dark blonde imagine my surprise when hey presto l get strawberry blonde 😂 This is also my first experience of dying my hair.
