Still need work on the stubborn grayThe 2nd time around the color was customized and it did justiced. However the 3rd one still the same as the very first one did not cover the gray well. I still see my gray. I did follow instructions as it indicated in the booklet. Please adjust appropriately like the second one. I was happy with that. 1st and only coloringI am happy with how the dark brown turned out, however I'm not happy with the product itself. I have never used a hair dye that burned my scalp and stained my skin so badly. I don't believe I will be ordering again unless I have someone to help me to deal with the drips and scalp stains. I'm disappointed because the color is exactly what I wanted, but it took 3 days and plenty of scrubbing to get the stains off, and yes I used the supplied stain protector and remover wipe. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did not cover grayI do not have tons of gray. Just enough that it becomes noticeable. Color received was very dark, almost black. Gray hair turned light brown. Disappointing. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!I am beyond thrilled with my results! Let me first share, that I am extremely particular about quality. I have long, mid- back length and very thick deep brunette hair with interwoven red/ mahogany undertones. (With intense and stubborn gray regrowth EVERY two weeks). I really budgeted to visit my colorist once every six weeks. I was STILL spending a small fortune with over $140.00 every visit. (She used Goldwell color (an excellent color line that originated from Germany that has exceptional depth; especially for dark brunettes/ red pigments). My sister recommended that I try e-Salon. I have to admit, I was very hesitant. Well....long story short, my only regret is that I waited SO long (and spent way too much money at the salon)! My results are AMAZING! Because my "emotional identity" is so interwoven in my hair, (yes, I realize to some this may sound superficial; and to a certain level it is, I know. Although, it is very true of me and for those of you who also may identify with this, I want to be completely transparent). I called the e-Salon for guidance and uploaded pictures of my current color and spoke in length with Color Expert, Courtney, who provided me with the perfect match. Since, complete strangers have asked me who my "amazing colorist" is. I tell them. Sorry for such a long review, I honestly never expected such wonderful results and this has, literally changed my life with affordability, convenience (delivered right to my doorstep), and 100% satisfaction. (I shudder as I recall the many times I had to return to the salon when my color came out too dark, the gray was not covered, etc. - and although, I was eventually happy with the result; the amount of time, scheduling, "extra" tip to the colorist for fitting me in, etc.) is all gone.
