Not UN-satisfied, but not completely satisfied, either...It was fun receiving my eSalon purchase in the mail: impressively put-together package! The personalization was awesome, and made me feel special! Getting to the directions--I had to read and re-read them several times. It just seemed as if some steps were not spelled out in a clarifying matter. But, once I started the process, it seemed to make more sense. Sectioning off my hair, tho, as described, would have been much easier if I'd had a second person to help. As for my specific color formulation -- it was a good, final color...it just didn't "pop" for me. Even my husband made the remark "It looks like what your natural hair color must look like." (We've only been married a year and a half.) And indeed, it looked just like my natural brown. Not only to cover my gray, but I also color my hair to add some oomph to my boring, old brown. My eyes are a light brown, but with a gold to them in the sunlight (per my husband.) So, I try to add some dark red highlights, but not coppery, orange. Hope I can send a picture with this.... Now, 3-4 weeks after my initial use of my personalized formula, I was somewhat disappointed in the short length of time the color stayed. I'm talking within 2 weeks, the gray was already back -- and it was such a sudden change, and enough of it, that I wondered if the color didn't simply coat the hair which abruptly "fell" off. Again, I did not have a NEGATIVE experience, but I was NOT SATISFIED ENOUGH to commit to being a life-long customer, either. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

First Time User - Very Happy but....Used the product today for first time. Very satisfied with the root coverage. Satisfied with the color itself. ImpressedMy hair is a very dark brown to pretty much black and usually when I buy store bought hair color I have to use two boxes each month for about 3 months to get it a little light. When I tried eSalon I used one application and it definitely lightened up my hair within 30 minutes. I was impressed with the change it did. It was not the exact color I was looking for but I plan to continue to use eSalon and see if maybe a second application will make me 100% happy. Best colour I have ever usedI was initially very upset to find I had been put on repeat order , so check your order details ...but you can just order when you want , it comes from America so allow time for delivery...but I love this product, I can make it do two applications so not too expensive really ... 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Couldnt see color on hairI didnt achieve the color I wanted first time and it was hard to wash off. It leaves a very greasy residue, so make sure to wash of properly and in accordance to the instructions. Going to try again though. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |
