Not the color I wantedMy hair was originally medium brown and I requested to go lighter to a dark blonde. The colorist messaged me and said with my skintone, I'd look better with an ash blonde color. The color turned out to be a medium/dark brown with significant red tones. Total opposite of what I wanted! I frequently added information via photos and commentary about how the color was fading as the weeks wore on. I was hoping to hear from the colorist as I added information but only just heard something via email today, when they were preparing the color to ship it out. Through my account I had requested to go lighter...again. The colorist told me my hair can't be lightened now with the color in it. Reds are hard to matchI don't want the color of CARROTS or A BURGUNDY, with that being said.....You guys nailed it! Nailed it the first timeI’ve been going to a salon for 25+ years but wanted to try something in between. I’m very picky and particular about the strawberry blonde shades I want. My first box came with 2 different color mixtures and I absolutely love them both. It’s perfect !! Didn’t cover my greyThis was my first time using esalon, I love the color, I love the way my hair looks and feels after I used the color but unfortunately it didn’t cover my grey and since the only reason I wanted to color my hair was to cover the grey, I don’t see a reason to buy it again. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
