No one can tell the difference!With tip, my one-process color would cost me $108 every five weeks. I felt so guilty about spending all that money on my hair, but it always looked so fabulous and consistently natural! I attempted at-home coloring a couple of times to save money, but it was so obviously not the same that my husband told me cost was not an issue... hint, hint... So I went back to a colorist. When he saw the eSalon box come in one day, he asked me why I would stop using a professional again. Little did he know I had been using eSalon for months! Good product, great CSI like the color that was customized by eSalon for me. The product seemed to fade a little less quickly than the regular store bought hair colors. It covered my gray really well, however, due to growth, I still had to use the root touch up after about four weeks. Great customer service. Initially I did not receive the first shipment in a timely manner (ordered during the holiday season and shipping took longer than normal). Wrong color! Very Dull...no shine at allI want to give this a good review, but I can't. It's one star for being inexpensive, nice packaging, great instructions, but this was a waste of my time. My hair came out the exact same color...and it was alot of work for no change in color. My hair felt horrible afterward. I used the two bottles sent for the first time, (one for roots & one for the rest of my hair), gloves, conditioner, and followed the instructions to a tee. I sent a picture of my before hair, explained what I wanted. One of the Copper options for dark hair. I'm disappointed. I'm not really wanting to change the color, even though it's nice that eSalon will work with you. My hair just felt horrible afterward and wasn't shiny at all! Cancelled My ColorThis is only my second time using esalon to color my hair and I am now cancelling my auto renewal because my skin really broke out after using the most recent batch they sent me. Not what it soldThis hair product was not at all what I wanted, or expected. It was not easy for one person to use. The color distribution was difficult because the product was much more runny than I'd anticipated. Even with the greatest of care, dye dripped onto the cape, and subsequently ran down until it reached the floor. The color did not look how I wanted when I finished. DisappointingMy hair is naturally dark brown. I ordered a copper hair colour. I spoke to an esalon representative and sent a photo through as requested. The lady recommended opting for brown/copper to ensuere that the colour looks natural and is suitable for my current hair colour (i.e since the hair is dark there is no point hoping for a intense copper). Well... the colour has arrived... and now my hair is completely black! Not even a hue of copper or brown for that matter... I hate it, much prefereed the natural brown look i had before.
