Roots didn’t take. The rest of color, great.My roots did not take the color. Just okay.Works great for a week or less. Everytime I color, I love it but it just doesn't last. I generally only need to do my roots. I'm sure it probably works great for others but I've actually found supermarket touch-ups and semi-permanent colors to be longer lasting and significantly cheaper. The color looks just as good, my hair feels great and lasts for at least 3 to 4 weeks (my hair grows fast). I've been using eSalon for a few years but it only takes two washes and the grays of my roots are significantly lighter than the rest of my hair. Does not cover greyI love the customer service and believe colorists are experienced and customer friendly. I tried 5 times and worked with them to change my color. Looking for dark brown hair and grey coverage is not enough, I still see Grey's after following all instructions. I still like to go with them as it is ammonia free dye. The soft black didn’t take or even cover my gray.I’ve been very happy with the colors in the past. My natural color is light brown with gray around my temples. A few months ago, I dyed it ‘store bought’ mahogany.
