Great KitI love that everything you need is in one box to color your hair. However, this is the first time using the system and results were OK It did not cover my gray, or completely cover my highlights. Not covering all of the highlights were OK with me, but was hoping it would cover the gray. I will admit to not leaving it on for the whole processing time. Easy, Long Lasting ColorI have been coloring my hair for the past 12 years but only because of my gray hair, so I'm just trying to match up the color. I started with a box color from the grocery store,... good for about 3 weeks before it fades and the gray show through. I have also been to my stylist for color, which lasts forever, but he never gets the color right which is very frustrating and very expensive. I thought I'd give eSalon a try when several of my friends posted it on facebook. The box came and had everything I needed, great instructions, and was very easy to use. However, it didn't seem to color my gray all that well. Later, when they asked me for my feed back I told them that, and they discussed it with me, made me a new formula and directions and sent it to me completely free of charge. After using it and following the new directions, it was the perfect color and completely covered all of my grays beautifully! New Hair ColorWe used the color kit exactly as the instructions said. I chose a light brown. I had some grey roots and they turned golden, but the rest of the color was fine. Wrong color team ignoring my request.I had sent previous emails and photos that I do not like color and it was the wrong color for me. I tried to adjust it and I was ignore. I just got my order again with the same color that I have requested a change of it. Obvios nobody saw or read my emails. DisappointedI found this hair colour no different to the shop brand box after 1 week i can see my grey appearing the colour was to dark not as expected the condition of my. Hair was no different to the shop box s!! I love my color!The color turned out so beautiful. I've gotten so many compliments about how perfect the color goes with my skin tone. I was a little nervous because what I chose was quite different for me. But I absolutely love it! I had lots of gray in my hair and always have had trouble covering it with other at home coloring brands but this did great! It does contain ammonia since you have to have that in order for it to be a permanent color application so just thought you should know that since that has a very distinct smell. Be sure to follow the instructions about finishing it in the shower by adding water to the mixing bowl or bottle and mixing together then pouring it over your hair and massaging for 2 to 3 minutes. Very important. When you go to rinse it you may think it feels like it's not rinsing but just pay attention to the fact that the color is fully rinsed when the water runs clear and use the shampoo and conditioner and those will wash out any residue. I was a little clumsy with pouring the water mixture over my head but I'll do better at it as I get used to doing it.
