Professional Upscale Salon QualityThis hair dye is fabulous, in the salon I've used Paul Mitchell as well as some other dyes. The color is beautiful and rich, not dull with blue hues. It did not have a smell of any kind, did not itch, burn or sting. Scared to try... but am soo glad I did!I've never done anything to my own hair besides the "trim of the bangs" that drives my hairdresser nuts. So, coloring was a huge leap for me. My hairdresser was out on maternity leave and I thought I should do something about the grey/silver hairs that didn't take time off! I ordered what I thought was a good match for me. The questions were great, it felt like the company really did care about MY head of hair. I sent a photo in as well. Shipped amazingly quick with all of the goodies, gloves, brush, bowl, stain prevention and remover, clips, etc. Remember, I'm a first timer! Nervous is an understatement. I let it sit for a day, debating if I had the guts to do it. Decided since it was on a Friday, I had until work on Monday to fix things if something went wrong. I read the directions, followed them pretty close. I admit I had hair clip issues but really it didn't matter. Set the timer and ...go! Rinsed it out and waited. Impatiently..I've gone this far.. Wow. Absolutely what I wanted! I giggled, my husband rolled his eyes, and then he said it looked great! (Men don't understand the trauma of a bad hair color!) I'm not kidding, it looked fabulous. 6 weeks later, second shipment arrives. Just as the little silvers were starting to pop up. I had NO hesitation. I happily colored my own hair. Got a little braver and pulled some streaks down through it to the tips. Looked fantastic again. Awesome. My colorist is on point! My hairdresser probably won't be happy with eSalon. Great serviceI am super happy with the results of my first eSalon hair color. I usually have to go to a salon once a month to have my roots touched up. Excellent coverage without piles of goopI dyed my shoulder-length hair black and usually have to pile on a load of dye to get a deep shade instead of a sketchy overlay. None of that with this product. I've been a customer for a few months and would recommend this service to anyone who's tired of needing constant retouching or who has easily-damaged hair. Beautiful color and even better conditioning!At 68 I needed a change. I had been dying my blonde hair red for almost a decade, covering the lightening, the highlights over the lightening and, of course, the occasional perming. I liked the white halo that framed my face at 66 yrs. old, but the dull grey that grew in behind the white was out of the question. I saw an ad rating e-Salon as the best home coloring and gave them a call. I described the color I wanted, and the sorry condition of my hair. I was astounded at the accuracy of the color, a bit toned-down red, a softer color for my aging face, total coverage of white and grey and, thanks to the packet of conditioner, a softer, less tangled mane.
