I feel like me again!I love this dye. After years of colouring my hair with shop-bought and always feeling like it all looked quite obvious, this dye really looks natural, even if you've gone for a non-natural colour. My ONLY criticism is that when washing the dye out, your hair feels really waxy and weird. As long as you persevere with the shampoo, the waxiness WILL come out and your hair will be soft and shiny, I promise! very unhappy. Going to salon to fix tomorrow.The blond did not mesh with the existing color. Instead, it turned somewhat orange. A brassy strange color. Nice hair product; horrible plastic packagingToday I received my hair color, plus my order of shampoo, conditioner, and spray root cover-up. The hair color products were packaged in the usual box with the hard plastic 'tray' holding the hair color bottles and other product for coloring the hair. The shampoo and conditioner, which are in very heavy plastic bottles with a plastic cap AND a plastic pump (the many times does NOT work). Next, a thick, plastic shrink wrap covers the pump and half-way down the bottle (is this necessary with a 'locking' pump??) This plastic bottle was THEN placed in a thick, printed plastic bag, sealed with a plastic sticker, and placed in the box with the plastic tray. The conditioner was in the same bag. The small bottle of root cover up spray (aerosol...) was wrapped in a styrofoam sleeve (!) and THEN placed into another thick plastic bag (same type of bag as described above). This bag then placed in the big box with plastic tray. eSalon: our planet is imploding from global warming and climate change. Whether you believe in it or not, we humans are destroying the planet, and one way is by the use of non-recyclable, non-biodegradeable plastics. What am I to do with this packaging? the bags are not of a size to re-use (for what?). I can't bring myself to throw them away. I do recycle the color box (cardboard) but the tray? Your products look very chic and cool, but they are Earth friendly. I don't know if I can continue buying your products if I can't recycle the packaging. As it is, I ONLY buy packaging for all my other home products and everything I can that is recyclable. There are product packaging designers who specialize in using 100% recyclable materials, or better yet, MINIMAL packaging practices, to help companies HELP OUR PLANET. Time to focus on changing your packaging? PS I am a marketing professional. You would sell A LOT more product if you could promote the Earth-friendliness of the packaging.
