Awesome grey coverage but it feels like glueGuys! If your goal is grey coverage, esalon works like a charm. If you want ease of coloring at home on your own, consider a different product. The time and effort it takes to wash this product out of your hair is not worth it. It feels like your entire mane is matted down with a thick coating of elmers glue. It took me several washes to feel comfortable going out of my house as It leaves such a weird coating on your hair. I color my hair, often. I wanted to give esalon a try and maybe try a different brand of color. My other issue. I chose my natural color of light ash brown. My hair pulled brassy orange at the roots. That never happens to me with ash which left me all sorts of confused. However, I was able to tone it with lavender/grey toner and it ended up being a splendid color. Really rich and beautiful. Grey coverage gives it the three stars. It's really great for greys. I wish I liked it better. I'll stick with Sally beauty supply and mixing my own color. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
