Brassy lookingThis was my third time using esalon and the result this time wasn’t good. My hair had distinct brassy tones. I contacted customer service for assistance in correcting the problem and after a full day I received a reply that basically suggested I buy more dye. Brassy and dark balance is off!Was at a 9 Blonde light in color and they would not match me they sent me a 8 medium (a whole year of work gone ) to a dark color with red and yellow tones. Was told ( afterwards sending me a second box that made my hair darker) they could not match my color! Was told they would not go lighter than two tones of your natural color but that wasn’t the color I had. The pro side is they answer the phone every time you called. The con they can’t match the color you have regardless of pictures they should’ve just been upfront about it. I just went out and I was asked if I was a red head! Hot RootsI loved how everything was packaged, easy to follow instructions… this was my first time trying and really made a mistake trying something new right before a trip. I followed the instructions completely but ended up with brass colored roots! For context my hair is black and I was supposed to receive a blue black. And I lost so much hair in the shower to top it off! I have been dying my own hair for years and never had an issue. I spoke to a hair professional and she said no way I received true blue black color as my roots wouldn’t have turned this color. I usually don’t write reviews especially bad ones but felt the need to say something. Didn't work wellI am disappointed with the eSalon color, partly my own fault. Pros; super easy to use, everything was included in the kit, kit was beautifully packaged, color was exactly what I ordered. Cons: the color I ordered was too dark and didn't look like a natural color. I chose the color and unfortunately, choosing from a small color online, I choose the wrong color. After washing my hair the second time I noticed that grey was showing already in my temples. I don't know if my hair just doesn't hold the color or the color doesn't stay on grey hair. I'm a senior and even perms don't hold the way they used to so it may be my hair.
