Custom Color is Great !I'll admit I was skeptical at first, but I was really thrilled with how perfect the match was to my color, when all I needed was a root touch up. Always pleased with this purchaseI have been using this product for four years now! It was a very affordable alternative when I didn’t have the funds to go to a salon while I went back to school and now that I can, I prefer to stay with esalon! Had to change reviewStill getting used to the color, not sure if I want to tweak it. Didn't like the color at first because it was darker than my present color(-I forgot that I had requested darker). Not a great experience for me!Ok, so first off I love esalon's hair products. I have never had an issue before now. I sent a picture, added that I wanted to go darker than my natural color with some lighter toned highlights, which i was prepared for highlights to not be apart of my kit, and get rid of old dye. However, what i put in my hair was NOT darker than my natural color. They sent two bottles, one for roots and one for ends. I followed instructions and procedures accordingly. About halfway through I started to realize the areas covered were lighter than my roots. I finished the process anyway because i didnt want half done hair. Needless to say my hair turned out about 2 shades light, WHICH IS NOT AT ALL WHAT I WANTED. I am not happy with the color at all. I hate writing bad reviews, but I just not a happy camper about this. I would much rather have my color fixed than a refund. -Update- 10/09/17 This is why I love esalon, they contacted me in regards to my hair, corrected the color adjustment and is sending me 🤞🏽The color I wanted. Just making an effort to fix a mistake isn’t good enough, but to fix it with courtesy, not charge me for it, and give the option of fast shipping is what a good business is all about. Wonderful Service and ProductMy grey seems to be coming through in the front after 2-3 weeks. So my stylist is making a new formula to help me with my issue. The color is great and the customer service very prompt and attentive to my needs! Custom Hair ColorI was not happy at all. Only after two washings my color turned very dull. Did not cover my grays very well. I bought the touch up spray for my gray roots. A total waste of money. I think I’ll stick with the salonIt was sub par hair coloring. I have blond hair it usually holds color well. I wouldn’t pay the full price for the color I received but at a discount it made it a little better. I think I’ll just pay the extra and get it done at the salon. Loved the coloringI bought this hair coloring in hopes to cover my grey hair. The coloring I had been using was from L'Oréal and within a month it was already fading. I have a difficult time trying to find anything to stay on the grey more than a month. This stayed on my hair about the same length of time.
