Amazing!!!!Even though I’ve never shied away from color from a box, I was a little hesitant at first just because I wasn’t sure if the color was going to match what I previously had done at the salon (I went from blonde to red.) I was so surprised when the color ended up matching EXACTLY what I had gotten done. Not only was the color amazing, but it didn’t smell too strong nor did it make my scalp itch. LOOKS GREAT!This color works great! The only issue I have is it makes my scalp itch for a few days after I color. I have sensitive skin, so I'm guessing it's just a sensitive scalp. No issues with the color itself. I did ask to lighten the color slightly on my next batch. I have found that if I start on the front like the instructions say for covering grays, it ends up too dark. This time we started in the back and the color is MUCH better. Not overly dark as in the past few times! good coverageI have quite a few stubborn grays. I find that this hair color works well to cover them up, but over time, the color fades and the grays grow out. Too hard to work with Too darkProduct is fine and cheaper then salon but application is difficult and color is consistently darker than I wanted and I have tried 2x to change it. Will go back to using what I was before. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Should have done this a long time agoI was fortunate that my long-time hair dresser - who understood that I was retiring and needed to save costs - gave me my exact salon formula. I passed this along with my first order and honestly, modestly, my hair looks no different than when I had it done at a salon. In other words, it looked great! And, I found doing my own color was actually FUN! I now feel like I should have done this a long time ago and saved myself a lot of money. Salon hair without the price tagI absolutely love my hair color. I had gotten my hair done at the salon from blonde ombre to red and noticed that my roots were starting to come through at week 4/5. I was trying to find different ideas to color my roots without the price tag of a salon and found esalon. I ordered and so glad I did. My color came out exactly like my colorist did and it was refreshed and toned and for 1/5th of the price...LOVE! definitely on reorder and will continue to use this service. 3 of 3 people found this review helpful. Custom Color to color greyThe color blends in perfectly. If you are honest/realistic when looking at the options (you can also send a photo) you can select a color that will match your color.
