Omg!! I LOVE my hair!!!I got my custom color in yesterday. Before I used it, I read some of the reviews. I was kind of scared to try it. I opened up my package today and read the instructions, and then kind of stared at the product for a while. I used to go to the Salon, but I'm on disability and can no longer afford that luxury. I was coloring with store bought boxed color, but it never ever came out the color I wanted, and would put my hair in a ponytail under a hat. I was so discouraged, until NOW!!!! I prepped, I colored, and omg, I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my hair!! It turned out just like I had gone and spent $100.00 on my hair!! The color is perfect, my hair is so healthy looking. I cannot say enough about my custom color and esalon!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! The only other thing is next time, I'm going to order the highlights with the color!! I've honestly had better/healthier results with boxed dyesI regretfully give this review as I was very excited and hopeful to try esalon. The deliverance of the supplies and packaging/display was great. The colorist accepting my color requests and modifying accordingly was good. Unfortunately, the product itself is not. The first time I colored my hair it was extremely brassy/ unflatteringly-coppery at the roots and pretty dull in the length; 2nd color led to a lot of hair breakage (I've had to cut 3" off) and in 2 weeks is already faded and exposing the grays. I've honestly had better/healthier results with boxed dyes at the stores. 4 of 4 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Didn't cover gray hair.I'm quite disappointed in my personal hair color. I left a note for the colorist that stated all my roots are gray and the color I received did not cover the stubborn gray hairs. The accessories were awesome. The stain guard saved my forehead. Color turned out darker than expectedI expected the color to look a little bit closer to the image online since I specified my hair and it literally just looks like my natural dark hair color with more "natural" copper highlights.
