Lots of shine. Beautiful color.Came with easy to follow instructions, skin protection, stain removal, gloves, etc. This is the first time I have used hair color at home. I requested extra shine in the formula, and my hair is very shiny! The color is very rich. I think I must have ordered the color a little too dark brown, and the auburn I selected has more of an iodine color. It's pretty but I think I will have to shampoo a bit extra to see if it will lighten up a bit. I also noticed that the dye must have given my hair some extra body! Which is always good. Fast forward, I received a free color set with an adjustment to the color. It was perfect! I love it. I decided to try some highlights, and it was so easy to apply! The results were wonderful. The kit allows you to apply the amount of highlights where you want it. I used to spend $175. to have a cut and root color done. Best at-home kit!I usually buy cheap color kit from drug store, whatever is on sale, generally lasts 2 months max. With eSalon, I can go much longer between color jobs due to great quality of result. Love the color and instructionsI have been having heavy highlights for a couple of years but can't really afford that so decided to go back to dark. My regular girl did dark brown over the highlights and that turned reddish in 3 weeks as expected. I got chocolate from esalon and redid the color this week. It looks great and silky soft. It will probably fade too because the highlights underneath for a little while but it is so much more affordable. I was able to do it by myself. Once I get it back completely healthy may try some highlights myself. I want to try the tint but haven't figured out how to add it to my 1 time color order (I don't like keeping my information on websites).
